We’re passionate about helping people pursue their personal or professional aspirations and offering an opportunity to connect with others who share the same interests. How do we do this? By creating fun and unique experiences, workshops and gatherings called Collectives.
Last month we held our very first Collective, a Parisian themed photography workshop called Oui Oui Photographie, at The Little London Plane in Pioneer Square. Attendees of various backgrounds gathered on a sunny June afternoon to learn about everything from ISO settings to tips on composing the perfect shot using their own DSLR cameras. As a bonus, French lessons were mixed in too. Fun fact: “Seize the day” in French is Profite du jour present.
After a très bon brunch break catered by The London Plane (we’re still thinking about that cardamom cake!), a team photo scavenger hunt got the competitive juices flowing and gave attendees the opportunity to work together and put their newfound skills into action. We were so impressed with the creativity we saw when the scavenger hunt photos rolled in, it certainly made it difficult to choose a winning team!
We were lucky to have photographer, Lauren Cunningham, on hand to help us document the day with these snapshots, which we are now excited to share with you.
We’re passionate about creating fun and unique experiences to help spark creativity in you. Get a closer look at how last month’s Oui Oui Photographie participants learned new camera skills at our very first #carpediemcollective (link in profile). Special thanks to videographer, @anamophic for capturing these great moments!
“I loved all of it! It was well-thought out and organized, with a central theme – Paris. It was fun getting a chance to work with others, compete in a group challenge, eat delicious food, and get our photographs taken by Grace.” – Janet Bauer
